Health and social care is a comprehensive approach to health care that acknowledges the complex social factors impacting health and well-being.
This field stands at the forefront of educating you with the information, skills, and practical experience required to provide essential trust and support services and high-quality, inclusive care to individuals, families, and communities.
This field focuses on the holistic care of individuals of varying stature and social class.
It does so while taking into account their situations,health histories, and requirements. It goes beyond treating body illnesses and emphasizes emotional support, compassionate assistance, public inclusion, and empowerment.
It equips every learner with theoretical knowledge and practical skills as they are needed to deliver safe, dignified, compassionate, and person-centered care for their employers.

HOD PROFILE
Ejimonu Ngozi Constance is a Public Health educator with a degree(s) in health education. She has a bias for health intervention programs and capacity development for lifesaving skills, caregiving and safety education.
Ejimonu Constance is result-oriented individual who supports institutionalizing evidence-based changes to enhance individuals health and education, especially for underprivileged and vulnerable people.
She is a member of the Nigerian Association of Health Educators (NAHE) and a Member of Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria.
